The Chelly School

In 2022, the Chelly Foundation responded to the community’s need for a new school building to replace a condemned, old wooden structure. The Chelly School consists of five classrooms, built to accommodate 400 children in the first through fifth grades. A dedication ceremony took place in January 2023, when the school is formally given over to provincial officials to be part of Chum Kiri’s educational school system.
